Update on availability as of 11/28/2011
Sadly, to date we have still been unable to locate a suitable and affordable manufacturer for our desks and therefore cannot fill any order at the present time. The horrible economic situation in the United States and the problems with outsourcing in foreign countries remains a big obstacle to overcome. We may resort to looking for a larger furniture company with an established manufacturing and distribution system in place to take over our line. Hope springs eternal and we know we have an excellent product to offer. Keep the faith and we’ll keep trying!

Update on availability as of 3/15/11
Very sorry, everyone, but we are still sold out of our Uncle Alex and PayStation standup desks.
For your information, all of the furniture that we sell are proprietary (exclusive) designs of Graham / Peterson Desk Company and had been made for us under contract with an outside manufacturing company in the Philippines. However, due to price increases and their limited production capability we have had to discontinue our association with them and are currently looking for another qualified manufacturing company to work with us. We also spent quite a bit of time trying to get our desks made right here in the good old USA but NO LUCK! It would have been way too expensive to justify and the pricing to you would have been prohibitive. Consequently, like most other furniture companies we have had to, once again, look overseas for our production.
We had been working with a company in China but the production samples that they made did not meet our standards and our arrangements with them have been terminated. We are currently screening several other companies there to work with us but so far have not yet contracted with a new supplier. Needless to say, this continues to put us behind in getting new inventory.
Sadly, the bottom line is that it will still be a while before we will be able to fill any desk orders. It will most likely be toward the middle or end of this year but we still cannot give you a definite date. I know many of you have been waiting and waiting to place your order for a new desk and who keep e-mailing us for updates on estimated delivery. This has been very disappointing to us as well. However, we are not giving up and are trying our best to get these desks back on the market as soon as we can. If you send us and inquiry through our Contact Us link we will keep your e-mail address on file and as soon as we get an update on exactly when we will have our new inventory we will let you know. In all likelihood there will be some degree of price increase for our new desks but for anyone who is on our call back list, we are agreeing to maintain our current pricing for any new desk orders. So we hope you can wait but certainly understand if you have to push on to another source for your standup desk.
